Many of the people who work at Tait have relocated to Christchurch, either domestically or internationally.
We have learnt that relocation needs between individuals and families vary, so we offer a flexible and comprehensive relocation package.
All employees benefit further from Sir Angus Tait's philosophy with the annual profit share scheme. This is linked directly to company performance and is based on a percentage of base salary. Previously the profit share has ranged from 3% to 6% - it has a ceiling of 10%.
All Tait employees are entitled to 12 months unpaid maternity/paternity leave. This time period is standard under New Zealand Employment Law.
All employees are eligible for four weeks annual leave per year. Combine this with the 11 statutory holidays and you'll have 31 days leave per year. Graduates also receive time off to attend their graduation ceremonies.
All Tait staff and their families benefit from subsidised private medical insurance. While New Zealand's public medical care is of a very high quality, many use private medical facilities for elective surgery or to avoid public waiting list delays.
At Tait Communications we recognise the importance of a healthy work-life balance, and have a range of flexible working options to assist our employees to achieve this.
