Houston, TX: One of the world's leading independent public safety associations, APCO International, has included a Tait Communications network in its "hot 25 products of 2013" in the November edition of its Public Safety Communications magazine.
Each year, an independent team of anonymous reviewers choose the "hot 25 products" during the annual APCO International conference; an event that's been running for almost 80 years. For 2013 they included the Tait TN9400 phase 2 core network, the intelligent 'brains' that sits at the center of critical communications systems used by public safety agencies.
In the coverage of this year's event - held in Anaheim, California - APCO stated that "…our reviewers noted that they have visited with Tait customers who love this system, as well as the complete network support, maintenance and enhancement offered by the company."
The Tait TN9400 phase 2 core network helps clients integrate the many different hardware, software and management elements that make up a critical communications environment. It is an IP-based system specifically designed to provide open standards-compliant, mission critical communications over wide geographic areas, ideal for the day-to-day demands of Police, Fire and Emergency Services agencies all over the world.
"What everyone at Tait is delighted about with this award is that it's based on what our clients are saying about it," states James Kyd, chief marketing officer for Tait Communications. "It's recognition for the intense amount of expertise that goes into creating a truly customer-focused solution. Like everything we manufacture, develop and support, the TN9400 is a superb example of Tait people collaborating with our clients to deliver what they need."
Tait Communications' Americas head office is in Houston, Texas.
