Tait to honor police, fire departments in Houston, Texas
For the second consecutive year, Tait Communications will honor Houston's public safety heroes by sponsoring an American Hockey League (AHL) game between the Houston Aeros and Texas Stars.
Steve Cragg, President, Tait Americas, and Bruce Bonini, Vice-President Sales, will drop the puck at 7PM on December 26 to kick-off the match.
During period break, hockey fans and public safety supporters will witness the Guns 'N' Hoses tug-of-war battle on ice between local police officers and firefighters.
Mr Cragg says, "We are proud to sponsor this special occasion for local law enforcement and emergency response agencies. The holiday period is a particularly challenging time for public safety communities and we want to take the opportunity to give back to an industry that we are deeply engaged with, and to the people that dedicate their lives to keeping our communities safe.
"Tait has been designing and delivering communication solutions for public safety for over 40 years, and it's fitting that we support this event which promotes camaraderie and public awareness of law enforcement and first responders."
Joe O'Donnell, Director of Broadcasting and Corporate Partnerships, Houston Aeros, comments: "We are grateful to have Tait sponsor this event for the second year in a row. On behalf of the Houston Aeros and Tait Communications, this is our way of saying 'thank you' to our local heroes."
