Nominations open for Tait Industry Excellence Awards

New industry excellence awards for the radio communications industry have been launched.

Nominations for the inaugural Tait Industry Excellence Awards are now open.

Members of the Radio Frequency Association of New Zealand (RFUANZ), and those attending the upcoming 2012 RFUANZ Conference and Exhibition, are invited to nominate individuals for the Awards categories. Forms can be downloaded from the RFUANZ website and entries close 30th April, 2012.

The Awards will be presented at the Tait-sponsored RFUANZ Gala Dinner on 14th May at Te-Papa, in Wellington.

RFUANZ is a non-profit organisation whose membership ranges from local government authorities, transport operators, consultancies, radio dealers, radio network operators to private individuals.


Tait Industry Excellence Awards categories:

Service to the Industry Award

This award recognises dedication to enriching the radio communications industry through years of service and the education and mentoring of colleagues.

Project Excellence Award

This award recognises excellence in engineering, project management and acknowledges innovative projects. It highlights the importance of professional engineering and project management in achieving high performance in projects.

Technical Excellence Award

Open to all RFUANZ technicians, engineers and technical staff, this award recognises a dedication and passion for radio communications.
