Tait endorses the MiMOMax Network Digital Link (NDL) for use with its Taitnet Trunked P25 Network
Tait has joined a number of other PMR manufacturers in approving the MiMOMax Network Digital Link (NDL) as their linking solution for spectrally efficient inter-site PMR communications.
Following successful field trial outcomes, Tait has formally endorsed the MiMOMax NDL as their preferred linking solution that provides a reliable ultra spectrally efficient and very low latency fixed linking solution for the Taitnet Trunked P25 network.
Tait confirmed that the MiMOMax NDL is capable of supporting up to five Tait P25 traffic channels plus a control channel in one 25kHz linking channel using 16QAM MiMO, or alternatively a 12.5kHz linking channel, using 256QAM MiMO. Moreover, if required the MiMOMax NDL is capable of supporting up to ten P25 traffic channels (in a single 25kHz 256QAM MiMO channel).
Tait stated that they were particularly impressed by the MiMOMax NDL's very low latency and low jitter, with no voice packet loss. Additionally, the MiMOMax Data Acceleration Protocols (M-DAP) flawlessly processed traffic, via successful recognition of the P25 data stream service requirements.
Tait has previously endorsed the MiMOMax NDL for Taitnet P25 conventional and simulcast systems, confirming the MiMOMax NDL as a complete simulcast, conventional and trunked, P25 network inter-site linking solution.
MiMOMax Wireless utilises MiMO and Space Time Coding technologies to provide high reliability, ultra high spectral efficiency, very low latency linking solutions in narrowband licensed channels to ensure reliable, and interference free operation for mission critical applications.
