Tait welcomes new managing director
Tait colleagues welcomed Frank Owen who started today as Managing Director (Designate) at Tait Electronics Limited. He is replacing retiring Managing Director Michael Chick who, after a period of transition, will be moving on to the Tait Board as a non-executive director in 2009.
Frank joins at an exciting time for the company, with a growing order book and new solutions in the pipeline.
"Thanks to Michael and the whole Tait team, this great company has already started transforming itself from being a 'radio maker' to a customer-centred radio solutions business," said Frank.
"I'm eager to hear first-hand about the needs of our customers such as public safety agencies, utilities and transport providers. And I'll be taking every opportunity at the forthcoming International Wireless Communications Expo in Las Vegas to learn about how we can serve them better."
"I'm also keen to meet our valued channel partners and dealer network who are so important in Tait success around the globe."
"Angus Tait, the Company's Founder was always clear that Tait people make the difference in a crowded, competitive industry. So of course I'm looking forward to meeting Tait employees across the world and collaborating to achieve even greater success," concluded Frank.
