Tait Radio Communications has opened a new facility in Houston, TX to provide effective support and service across the Americas regions.
The Americas region supports our customers throughout North and Latin America. "Our new facility has expanded into a 3 building campus, so we can host customers and dealers to provide training and demonstration of TaitNet P25, Simulcast, MPT1327 and DMR networks," said Steve Cragg, President of Tait Americas.
"Due to our record customer and employee growth in North and South America, we needed to expand. This larger facility is about providing growing room and greater service," added Steve.
A new training facility will allow customers to learn first hand how Tait systems and products can make a difference for their communications needs. A new network demonstration room shows how Tait can provide and support turnkey solutions. A full video conferencing suites will also complement the need for face-to-face communications.
"The new campus also houses our GSA assembly line, so US federal agencies can continue to procure APCO P25 equipment through the pre-approved GSA Advantage procurement program," said Paul Middleton, VP of Marketing Communications.
"Our P25 Compliance Assessment Program which was recognized by the Department of Homeland Security is also based in this new facility. Other radio manufacturers' will soon visit the Houston Facility to test their P25 mobiles and portables working with Tait P25 infrastructure equipment," added Paul.
