AVL data for improved worker safety and efficiency

Support for AVL (Automatic Vehicle Location) and vehicle telemetry data is inherent in the DMR standard, enabling vehicles to transmit location data back to base via radio, and enhance fleet visibility. Tait DMR has comprehensive support for AVL data built in. AVL data from mobile and portable radios can be collected via event-driven messages and sent to the management system to provide location information. Mobile radios can be programmed to "push" location data when triggered by events, while the central management system can also send a "pull" query to request location information from one or more radios.
