TM8000 – Options and Accessories

Tait mobile radios can be configured to suit your needs. With its wealth of configurable ports and option boards, fast transmit rise times and other performance features, a TM8000 series radio is easily integrated into other systems. Integrators can set priorities, configure inputs and outputs, install a custom-built options board or create a new application using Tait's optional third party developer's kit (3DK).

Internal Options Boards

• TM8000 Line Interface Board
  Provides a 600-Ohm, 2- or 4- Wire interface for remote control of the radio.

• TM8000 Options Extender Board
  Connects internal options connector to DB15 high density. Provides RS232 conversion. Can be configured to provide 5 volt supply.

• TM8000 RS232 Interface Board

• TM8000 Applications Target Board
  Connects third party equipment to the TM8000 radio, via the external options connector, using a 15 way high density D-range socket.

• TM8000 Internal Options Kit
  Includes connectors, looms and screws. Used to interface to customer's own board.

• Security Bracket
  Provides secure, quick-release installation with electrical isolation (requires cable installation to be ordered separately eg. TMAA03-11).

• TM8200 Remote Head Rear Panel
  Rear panel for TM8200 control head when it is remotely installed. Requires TMAC40-0T, TMAA04-01 (or similar) and TMAC34-0T.

• Cabling Kit for 25W radios
  Includes power cable, fuses and BNC connector.

• Cabling Kit for 40/50W radios
  Includes power cable, fuses and BNC connector.

• U-Bracket
  Includes U-bracket and screws.

• TM8250 Remote Head Cable - 6 metre cable
• TM8200 6-metre Remote Installation Kit
  Includes remote head rear panel, remote head cable, and remote installation blank head.

• TM8000 Plinth for Desktop Mounting

• TM8105 Programming Adaptor
  Required to program the TM8105. Converts DB9 to RJ45, which mirrors the TM8115 microphone connector and can use the T2000-A19 and TMAA20-04 programming leads.

• TM8000 Benchtop Power Lead
  Used to power TM8000 series radios from a benchtop PSU with banana sockets.

• TM8000 Programming Adaptor Cable
  Used for programming and calibration.

• Programming Lead
  Performs RS232 conversion between radio and PC.

• TM8000 Service Kit
  Includes product CD, service manual, programming and calibration leads and radio test unit.

  Used to connect the radio to TOPA-SV-024.
